16 Days Java – Lombok – Komodo – Bali


Day 1     Arrival Solo – Yogyakarta
Meet and greet at Airport Solo then depart for City Tour visiting the Mangkunegaran’s Palace with its beautiful collection, Triwindu flea-market for antiquities and Radya Pustaka Museum. Afterwards drive to Yogyakarta with included visit to Prambanan Temple, the biggest Hindu temples complex in Indonesia which was built in the 9th century. Overnight at hotel.


Day 2     Yogyakarta (B)   
Breakfast at hotel. Sightseeing Yogyakarta, the centre of Javanese arts and culture. Visit the Sultan’s Palace, Batik workshop, Leather handicrafts, Bird market, and the silverworks at Kotagede. Then continue the trip to visit the majestic Buddhist Temple Borobudur. Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 3     Yogyakarta – Malang (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Leave Yogyakarta for Malang in East Java province. Then to visit the erotic Sukuh Temple, the waterfall at Tawangmangu, and Lake Serangan. Afterwards proceed to Malang for overnight stay.

Day 4     Malang – Bromo (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Morning sightseeing to Batu, wellknown as the little Switzerland with a lots of flowers, apple orchard and sightseeing at Malang. Afterwards visit Jago Temple and Singosari Temple, proceed to Sukapura your base to explore Mount Bromo.

Day 5     Bromo – Surabaya (B)
Wake-up call at 03.00 in the morning then a short drive will take you to Cemoro Lawang. From here riding on horse back for 30 minutes across the sand sea to the foot of Mount Bromo, then climb the 245 staircase up to the rim of the volcano. After this venture, return to hotel for a hot bath and breakfast. Then depart to Surabaya and overnight at hotel.

Day 6     Surabaya/Java – Senggigi/Lombok (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport for flight to Mataram, the capital city of Lombok Island. Meeting service and direct city sightseeing to visit the royal floating hall of Mayura which was built in 1744. Afterwards drive to Narmada, which was originally used to be the summer palace of the former Balinese Kingdom dating back 17th century. Continue to the unique temple of Lingsar symbolizing the harmony and unity of two different religions, Hindu and Moslem. Transfer to Senggigi for overnight stay at hotel.

Day 7     Gili Islands Tour (B)
After breakfast, travel along the northern coast line of the island to visit Pusuk Pass, home to a colony of wild monkeys and offers dramatic panorama as a backdrop of Gili Islands peninsula. Then towards to Bangsal harbor for across to Gili Islands (Gili Meno, Gili Trawangan, Gili Air) by a traditional boat. Spend rest of the day for sun bathing, swimming, snorkeling or just relaxing on this pristine island. Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 8     Senggigi – Kuta (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Sesela village and start the interesting morning walk through farm areas and the beautiful nature. Join an exotic journey using the local ’Gondola’ of bamboo raft along the river of Meninting, where the villagers rely their life: mostly the sandman. Continue the trip to Banyumulek village reputed for its finest handmade pottery crafts and Sukarara village reknown for its traditional handweaving cloths. Next visit is a Sasak village with its traditional hyperbolic shaped thatched huts. Transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

 
Day 9     Free Program (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Rest of the day is free at own leisure.

Day 10   Kuta/Lombok – Sanur/Bali (B)
After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Bali. Meeting service and proceed to Sanur for overnight stay. Rest of the day is free at own leisure.

Day 11   Sanur/Bali – Labuan Bajo/Flores (B,L,D)
After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Labuan Bajo. Meeting service then transfer to hotel. Lunch en-route. In the afternoon drive to visit Mirror Cave. Proceed to Paradise Cafe Hill for sunset (subject to weather condition). Dinner at local restaurant.

Day 12   Komodo National Park (B,L,D)
Early breakfast at hotel. Departure from Labuhan Bajo by semi modern wooden boat to Rinca Island about 2 hours. En-route you can enjoy the wonderful sunrise and view of the small surrounding islands. Upon arrival at Loh Buaya pier start the walk for about 1 hour to reach the home of Komodo dragons where you see them in their own habitat. These animals grow up to 3 meters long and 200 kg in weight. Chance to see other wild animals, like water buffalo, deer, horses, etc. Afterwards sail to Bidadari island with white sandy beaches for swimming and snorkeling. Lunch on board. In the afternoon return to Labuan Bajo and transfer to hotel. Dinner at local restaurant.
   
Day 13   Labuan Bajo/Flores – Sanur/Bali (B)
After breakfast free at own leisure until time for flight back to Bali. On the way to airport visiting traditional market to view the locals selling their daily needs. Meet and greet upon arrival then transfer to Sanur for overnight stay.

Day 14   Free Program (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Rest of the day is free at own leisure.

Day 15   Free Program (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Rest of the day is free at own leisure.

Day 16   Departure Bali (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Free program until transfer to airport for onward flight.
